Hope and Pray
My Dad was telling me the other day about ash clouds in the sky due to the volcanic eruption in iceland. And then I was wondering what has it got to do with me flying to the UK?
Indeed it has everything to do with my trip. Apparently, no flights are allowed from and to London, Heathrow airport.
Then it hit me about the seriousness about this matter.
OMG!?!
If the ash clouds don't clear or flights are not resumed by 2 May, it's gonna be a disaster!
The air tickets aren't really the problem now because there's a possibility there could be a refund, special arrangement by the airline or maybe I could even claim travel insurance. The problem is, there will be concern about bookings made like car rental, accomodation and a local tour. If we don't make it to Scotland by 9 May, it will be drastic as we have a schedule to keep up with. The worse case scenerio is we have to forfeit the trip and lose $$$$ for the bookings.
NO!! I won't allow that to happen but what can we do?
We can only play the waiting game now.
And we can only hope and pray.
